(ANS – Cordoba) – During his visit to the Salesian Province of Argentina North (ARN), Fr Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major, opened the First Consultation with the consecrated Salesians of the Cuyo and Centro areas, who were convened in assembly for discernment and the search for the new Provincial of ARN. The day marked the formal beginning of a process of listening, prayer and shared responsibility, in which the Salesians actively participated, offering their points of view and their contribution to the choice of who will animate and govern the province in the coming years. ‘The role of Provincial is a service that is carried out in faith,’ said Fr Martoglio during the meeting, emphasising that the mission is not intended as a purely organisational function but as a pastoral dedication to the service of one’s confreres and the Salesian mission.
