Mendoza, Argentina – January 2026 – Las Heras, Mendoza, hosted the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) Soñador formation experience for young leaders. 70 young people from different houses in the Cuyo region, accompanied by a team of consecrated and lay Salesians, participated in the SYM formation program from 8-13 January. The young leaders said that ‘these spaces help us to continue learning and growing as leaders, and to feel supported, knowing that others have the same experiences as us.’ During these days they participated in formation workshops on Salesian identity, catechetical pedagogy, mission, vocation, and life. They also worked on tools that provided practical skills for daily mission and service. Prayer and liturgy accompanied and unified the formation journey, helping participants to reflect on the experience through prayer. The event took place in a festive atmosphere, full of joy and a deep Salesian spirit.
