Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Brazil – January 2026 – On January 24, the feast of St. Francis de Sales, patron of the Salesian Congregation, seven Salesian novices from various provinces across the country, made their First Religious Profession. The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Bishop Odelir José Magri of the Diocese of Chapecó (SC). Concelebrants included Bishop Emeritus Tarcísio Scaramussa, SDB, Fr. Ademir Ricardo Cwendrych, Provincial of Porto Alegre; Fr. Francisco Inácio Vieira Junior, Provincial of Recife; and Fr. Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, Provincial of São Paulo.
