(ANS – Warsaw) – The Theatre Initiatives Festival of the Salesian secondary schools of the Warsaw Province has reached its 16th edition. The creator and organizer of the event is Fr Robert Bednarski, and this year’s host, from February 27 to March 1, 2026, was the Salesian School Complex of Ostróda. Students from Salesian high schools in Łódź, Sokołów Podlaski, Mińsk Mazowiecki, and Ostróda took part in the festival. During the three-day gathering, in addition to presenting their own performances, students had the opportunity to watch “Szatnia,” staged by the theatre group “Przebudzeni,” active within the Polish Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities – Ostróda Section. The young participants also took part in various workshops, including circus arts, movement theatre with elements of drama, improvisation exercises, and laughter yoga. Recreational and spiritual moments were not lacking, with the event highlighted with the partecipation in the Way of the Cross and the conslusive Sunday Eucharist.
