(ANS – Ibadan) – The practical trainees of the Africa Nigeria Niger (ANN) Province gathered at the Salesian post-novitiate in Ibadan for their annual four-day formative meeting, focused on renewal, fraternity and deepening Salesian identity. The encounter offered moments of prayer, reflection and dialogue aimed at strengthening their commitment to consecrated life and service to young people, especially the most vulnerable. Sessions highlighted the relevance of Don Bosco’s Preventive System in contemporary youth ministry, the challenges of consecrated life today, and the importance of unity among young confreres. A fraternal dialogue with the Vice Provincial Fr James Ailen, exchanges with students of the host community, and visits to Salesian presences in Osun State enriched the experience. The trainees returned to their apostolates renewed in spirit and strengthened in their dedication to the Salesian mission.
