(ANS – Bellflower) – On March 15, 2026, in a joyful celebration at St. Dominic Savio Church, nine members of the parish community made their promise as Salesian Cooperators during a solemn Mass presided over by Fr. Mel Trinidad, SDB, Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco. The promises marked the completion of a two-year formation journey, accompanied by Mikey Vera, who guided the candidates in their discernment and preparation. The group was formally presented during the Eucharist by Mike Alvarez, Provincial Coordinator of the Salesian Cooperators. Their commitment renews the presence of the Salesian charism within the parish, embracing the mission of Don Bosco to serve young people and the wider community. Notably, five of the new Cooperators were themselves formed in the parish youth ministry and have remained active as adults, continuing their dedication to accompanying youth with faith and joy. The celebration brought together parishioners and members of the Salesian Family in gratitude and hope, marking a significant milestone in the life of the community.
