(ANS – São Paulo) – On Tuesday 17 March 2026, an online meeting was held for parish priests and rectors of shrines in the Salesian Province of São Paulo, Brazil (BSP). The meeting brought together pastoral leaders with the aim of reflecting on, planning and coordinating the initiatives that will guide activities throughout 2026. The meeting began with a message from the Provincial, Fr Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, followed by discussions on study topics that will guide the meetings throughout 2026. Another highlight was the organisation of the National Meeting of Parish Priests and Rectors, scheduled for September in the city of Juazeiro do Norte – CE, as well as the sharing of experiences by the Salesians who have taken up service on the commission this year and the presentation of the proposal regarding the Salesian youth ministry and Catechesis, confirming the commitment to the evangelisation of the younger generations.
