(ANS – Quito) – The Missionary Fair at the Don Bosco Salesian Technical College in La Kennedy has become a much-anticipated tradition for students, staff and parents. Every year, this initiative brings the entire school community together around a common goal: to support the Salesian missions and help those most in need. During this special week, from 9 to 13 March 2026, participants were able to enjoy a wide variety of dishes prepared with dedication by the parents. Each class was responsible for providing a different dish, ensuring that no dish was repeated on the same day, creating a varied and flavourful food fair. Through their generous contributions, the entire school community supports the missionary cause. Through the Salesian Society’s missionary campaign in Ecuador, “Missionaries of Hope among the Peoples”, the funds raised nationally are allocated to important projects benefiting young people and vulnerable communities. These include scholarships for South Sudan, the Salesian Project in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas and the Salesian Mission in Taisha.
