(ANS – Vargem Grande Paulista) – The Salesian São Paulo Brazil Province (BSP) organised a new edition of Mission Day on 11 and 12 April 2026, bringing together young members of the Mission Animation Groups for a weekend of formation, spirituality and sharing. The gathering took place at the Sítio Santa Teresinha estate in Vargem Grande Paulista and was attended by around 80 young people. During the programme, participants experienced meaningful moments of missionary reflection, strengthening their commitment to evangelisation and youth leadership. The Mission Day offered opportunities for fraternal fellowship and the exchange of experiences, fostering integration among the groups. The formation activities helped deepen the understanding of the Salesian mission, enabling the young people to bear witness to the Gospel in their local contexts. In keeping with Salesian spirituality, the gathering also featured moments of prayer and reflection, reinforcing the centrality of Jesus Christ in each participant’s missionary journey. The initiative reaffirms the commitment of the Salesian Province of São Paulo to youth missionary animation, encouraging young people to generously embrace the call to be missionary disciples, at the service of the Church and society.
