(ANS – Cuenca) – The blessing and dedication of the altar to Saint Maria Troncatti took place on 17 April 2026 at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Cuenca as part of the visit to Ecuador by Mother Chiara Cazzuola, Mother General of the FMA. Present were Fr Marcelo Fárfan, ECU Provincial, with his Council, FMA, SDB and the faithful. Mother Chiara Cazzuola also visited the premises of the Salesian Polytechnic University and attended the presentation of the “Saint Maria Troncatti, Mother and Missionary” play, strengthening the family spirit and renewing the commitment to ‘work together’, ‘with’ and ‘for’ young people and their families in the Salesian mission.
