(ANS – Macas) – The Sacred Heart Province of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) in Ecuador hosted the 2026 World Day of Grace, a celebration attended by Mother Chiara Cazzuola, Mother General of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, which brought together FMA from all five continents. In 2026, this event took on particular significance, as it coincided with the recent canonisation of Saint Maria Troncatti. One of the central events of this celebration was the Solemn Eucharist for the World Day of Thanks, held on Sunday 26 April 2026 in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Macas. The Mass was presided over by Fr Marcelo Farfán, SDB, Superior of the Salesian Province of Ecuador (ECU), and concelebrated by Bishop Néstor Montesdeoca, SDB, Bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of Méndez.
