(ANS – Brasília) – The General Assembly of the Salesian Network of Brazil (RSB) was held in the city of Brasília (DF) from 23 to 23 April 2026, at the headquarters of the Salesian Network. The event was attended by all the Provincial Superiors (SDB and FMA) of Brazil, as well as SDB and FMA members of the Board of Directors, alongside Sister Paola Battagliola, Visitation Councillor of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, and Fr Gabriel Romero, Councillor for the South America Region. The meeting was preceded by the Ordinary Assembly of the Conference of Salesian Provinces of Brazil (CISBRASIL) and the Conference of Salesian Provincial Superiors (CIB). In an atmosphere of great friendship and fraternity, there is a growing awareness of the enormous potential that comes from being part of a large Family, of a Network that connects the whole country. United by the values of Salesian identity, a passion for education and the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus, the participants acknowledged the challenges and expressed gratitude for the vibrant reality of all Salesian works, which renew hope for an ever more shared mission. The respective financial reports and new budgets for the year’s activities were presented and approved, as were new initiatives shared at the level of Initial Formation and ongoing formation, school support, social action, and reports relating to administrative-financial and legal matters.
