(ANS – San Antonio) – On Sunday 26 April 2026, on Good Shepherd Sunday, two new Salesian Cooperators – Alejandra Alvarez and Joel Sepulveda – made their promise during a ceremony held at the Provincial Chapel of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in San Antonio, Texas. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr Mel Trinidad, Superior of the St Andrew Province of the Western United States (SUO), who reminded those present that every Salesian Cooperator is a living sign of God’s tenderness towards young people and that it is a great joy to celebrate two young people saying “yes” to their vocation. Also present for the occasion were Sister Thuy Huong Nguyen, FMA, Provincial of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, and Sister Guadalupe Medina, Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Cooperators, as well as several members of the Provincial Council, family and friends, and representatives of the local community, who made this moment a true celebration of faith and of the Salesian Family.
