The highlight of the day was the solemn Mass presided over by Emeritus Bishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Đệ, together with a lively and engaging homily delivered by the Delegate Superior, Fr Thomas Vũ Kim Long. Their reflections emphasised the importance of the Salesian mission among both Christians and non-Christians, especially within the unique environment of the Salesian Oratory.
Besides the spiritual activities, the event was filled with a joyful and creative atmosphere, enriched by a variety of games and sports suitable for different age groups.
Many adult lay collaborators—such as Salesian Cooperators, ADMA members, youth leaders, catechists, parents, benefactors, and even non-Christians—generously contributed through their volunteer service. Their presence bore witness to the attractiveness of the Salesian approach to the young, offering meaningful opportunities for participants to step out of themselves and build new friendships with peers and educators.
As the Delegation continues its journey toward becoming a Vice-Province, the Oratory—one of Don Bosco’s most characteristic works—remains a vital contribution to the local Church and society, helping young people grow into responsible citizens and good Christians.
