(ANS – São Paulo) – On 12 and 13 May 2026, the Meeting of Operational Supervisors was held in São Paulo, a formation event for team leaders and future leaders of the Salesian communities of the São Paulo Brazil Province (BSP). The main objective was to develop a humane, effective leadership aligned with the values of Don Bosco’s Preventive System. Over the two days, participants alternated between moments of spiritual reflection and professional development. The first day was dedicated to relational and personal themes, such as the Rector Major’s 2026 Strenna “Do whatever he tells you. Believers, free to serve”, the Life Project, assertive communication and the protection of mental health in the workplace. The second day began with the Eucharistic celebration and a talk entitled ‘A treasure in earthen vessels’, before moving on to practical aspects of managerial leadership. Feedback techniques and the planning of concrete actions to be applied in local contexts were explored in depth. The meeting confirmed that leading, according to the Salesian charism, means serving with competence and sensitivity. Investing in the integral formation of staff enables the creation of healthy working environments, based on listening and shared responsibility, to better serve young people and society.
