(ANS – Cantera) – The Association of Salesian Cooperators (SSCC) celebrated its 150th anniversary on Saturday 16 May 2026 at the Parish of Mary Help of Christians in Cantera. The welcome address was given by Fr Timothy Zak, parish priest of the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, and by Helga Negrón, ASC National Coordinator, who emphasised how this anniversary represents an opportunity to renew the commitment to the mission of the ASC in Puerto Rico. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr Jorge González, SDB, and concelebrated by Salesian priests Wilfredo Calderón, Timothy Zak and Luis Reyes. Present at the event were the ASC from the country’s four local centres, together with members of the various branches of the Salesian Family. The event was organised by the National Consultative Committee in coordination with the local centres.
