(ANS – Córdoba) – A first meeting of the Provincial Council was held, chaired by the new Provincial of Northern Argentina (ARN), Fr Julio Boffelli SDB, who took up his post on 25 April. This marked the beginning of a new phase of leadership and support for the Salesian mission in the ARN Province. During the Provincial Council meeting, reflections were drawn from the summary of the consultation held with the consecrated Salesians in February, together with the contributions of the lay and consecrated directors at the last meeting held in Manucho. This material represents a valuable resource for guiding the priorities and challenges of provincial leadership in the coming years. Furthermore, the Provincial Council looked to the future of the province, identifying the challenges that lie ahead, the processes requiring support, and the new initiatives it deems necessary to promote. In this first communication addressed to the provincial community, Fr Boffelli expressed his gratitude for “the many expressions of affection, closeness and support received during this period”.
