(ANS – Zagreb) – On Sunday, 24 May the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) in the City of Zagreb received five married couples during the Holy Mass led by Fr Milan Ivančević, Provincial of the Croatian Salesian St. John Bosco Province. The specific feature of the ADMA local centre in the Parish of Our Lady Help of Christians is that the members are married couples. Every first Saturday of the month they have a formative meeting, after which they participate in the Holy Mass and then cover an all-night adoration. Every year they organise Family Day, and this year’s edition under the motto “Do whatever he tells you!” (Jn 2:5), will be held on 6 June. On the feast itself, four Holy Masses were celebrated, and the Archbishop of Zagreb, Archbishop Dražen Kutleša, led the solemn mass celebration of the parish, emphasising the importance of contemplating Pentecost through Mary’s eyes and Mary in the light of Pentecost, that is, “to reflect on the event of Pentecost in connection with Mary: with the one who was the first to completely open her heart to the Holy Spirit in the Annunciation, with the one who stood at the beginnings of the Church and with the one who remains the Mother of the Church and Help of Christians today.”
