Brazil – Salesian Pedagogy Meeting strengthens the formation of new educators

(ANS – São Paulo) – On Saturday 23 May 2026, the Salesian Pedagogy Meeting for New Educators was held at the Salesian Coração de Jesus secondary school in Campos Elíseos, São Paulo. Organised by the Salesian Province of São Paulo Brazil (BSP), the event brought together educational, administrative and pastoral educators from the province’s Salesian institutions. The programme included a formation session led by the Vice-Provincial of BSP, Fr Mauricio Tadeu Miranda, a visit to the Museum of Salesian Works in Brazil (MOSB), sessions focusing on schools, social action and Salesian higher education, as well as reflection on the Oratorian spirit and the principles of the Preventive System. Rather than being purely theoretical, the meeting highlighted for participants the importance of a meaningful educational presence, of nurturing relationships and of building an environment inspired by the spirit of family – distinctive features of Salesian pedagogy.
