(ANS – Cebu) – On 13 June 2026, the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes hosted the first in a monthly series of four educational conferences on music. Fr John Quincy Caballo, SDB, gave a talk on “Music in the Liturgy”, in which he highlighted the liturgical principles of worship and musical ministry. Representatives from various choirs and musicians from the parish were present. The Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes remains committed to the ongoing formation of lay members, and for this reason, the lectures play an important role, as they cover topics of great relevance concerning music, the liturgy, the technical aspects of singing and Salesian spirituality.
