(ANS – Sihanoukville) – Forty-eight oratory leaders from the Don Bosco Youth Center, Sihanoukville, participated in a three-day trip and formation programme in Takeo Province from July 10–12, aimed at strengthening their spiritual life, deepening their understanding of Salesian youth ministry, and fostering fraternity and teamwork. Hosted at St. Teresa Parish, Prekabas, the programme combined prayer, formation, and recreation. Fr. Mony, SDB, led sessions on Salesian Youth Ministry and the role of an oratory leader, encouraging participants to become responsible, faith-filled, and joyful animators in the spirit of Don Bosco. The group also visited Tamao Zoo, Chiso Mountain, and later joined the parish community at Our Lady of the Smile Parish, Chamkar Tieng, for Sunday Mass. Encounters with local parish priests enriched their understanding of missionary and pastoral work in the region. The experience concluded with renewed commitment among the young leaders to serve the oratory with stronger Salesian identity, deeper faith, and greater dedication to the young.
