(ANS – Mumbai) – Nineteen educators from Salesian schools across the Mumbai Province completed the fourth edition of the Lay Salesian Partners (LSP 4.0) Programme, held from July 5 to 11, aimed at deepening their understanding of Don Bosco’s spirituality and educational mission. Most participants, with several years of experience in Salesian institutions, sought to strengthen their appreciation of the Salesian charism in contemporary education. The programme, coordinated by Fr Ian Doulton, SDB, included sessions on Salesian spirituality, the Preventive System, eco-spirituality, adolescent development, and the vocation of the Lay Salesian Partner. A meaningful highlight was an interactive dialogue with six teenagers, offering educators firsthand insight into young people’s aspirations and challenges, and reinforcing the importance of listening and accompaniment. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment among participants to embody Don Bosco’s spirit more visibly in their classrooms and educational communities.
