(ANS – Jakarta) – More than 250 young people gathered in Sunter, Jakarta, for the first-ever “Feast ala Bosconian: Jesus Loves the Young,” organized by the Salesian Cooperators as a joyful thanksgiving at the end of the school vacation and a prayerful sending forth for the new academic year. The programme combined games, fellowship, praise and worship, faith formation, and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Energetic activities and shared meals fostered friendship and Salesian joy, while moments of worship and reflection deepened the spiritual experience. A Gospel reflection and an inspiring message on God’s immeasurable love invited participants to live their faith authentically, echoing Don Bosco’s advice: “Jump, run, shout, but do not sin.” The event culminated in the Eucharist, encouraging the youth to become true disciples by being good, doing good, and helping others become good. The gathering concluded with songs, group photos, and joyful fellowship. More importantly, the young participants returned home with renewed faith and a deeper conviction that Jesus truly loves them.
