Brazil – January 2026 – Between 3 and 18 January, fourteen Mission Animation Groups (GAM) from the Salesian Province of São Paulo visited eleven cities as part of Salesian Missionary Week. Nearly 400 young people made themselves available to carry out evangelisation activities with local communities, always accompanied by professed Salesians, those in formation and lay assistants. The group mobilised the parishes of the cities of Osasco, Itariri, São José dos Campos, Jacareí, Cachoeira Paulista, Piracicaba, Itirapina, Barueri, Guarulhos, Santa Maria da Serra and São Miguel Paulista, a neighbourhood in the eastern part of the capital, with moments of prayer, home visits, liturgical celebrations and festive oratories. Guided by the Salesian spirit, the young Salesians once again demonstrated their leadership, being a Church on the move and a sign of God in the lives of the communities served by the project. The project strengthens youth leadership and the experience of the Salesian charism within the Mission Animation Groups, putting the gifts of young people at the service of the Church.
