Aparecida, Brazil – January 2026 – From 15 to 17 January, the 2026 Meeting of Educational Leaders in the Salesian Province of São Paulo Brazil (BSP) was held in Aparecida – SP. The event brought together general directors, pedagogical directors, pastoral directors, financial managers, pedagogical coordinators, educational consultants, pastoral consultants, and coordinators of technical and extracurricular courses. The meeting aimed to strengthen the Salesian educative and pastoral identity and mission, promoting unity between pedagogical, administrative and pastoral aspects, management training and action planning for the next ten years. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in moments of reflection, study and sharing, fostering a deeper understanding of the challenges and prospects for 2026. The programme, organised by the coordinator of the Provincial Commission for Schools, Évila Silva de Souza, included thematic formation sessions, moments of spirituality and celebrations, presided over by the Provincial of BSP, Fr Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, and the Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Cláudio Andrade Motta, reinforcing the centrality of Salesian faith and spirituality in management. The 2026 Meeting of Educational Leaders was characterised by a climate of welcome, shared responsibility and hope, strengthening teamwork and commitment to the Salesian educational mission, reaffirming that educating and evangelising is a shared mission.
