India – Don Bosco College in Narsipatnam hosts third Past Pupil meeting
Narsipatnam, India – January 2026 – On 18 January, Don Bosco College in Narsipatnam held its third Past Pupil meeting, bringing together 70 participants in a spirit of brotherhood and renewed commitment to the growth of the institution and its service to society. The meeting reaffirmed the enduring bond between Don Bosco College and its alumni, highlighting their role in the college’s academic and social mission. Fr Upendra, Principal of the college, emphasised the crucial role of Past Pupils in the overall development of the institution, particularly for their contribution to the ongoing NAAC accreditation process, urging them to respond actively to institutional reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen the college’s accreditation efforts. Addressing those present as the keynote speaker, Fr Mariadas called upon Past Pupils to provide tangible support to the college through collective fundraising initiatives and social awareness programmes. Emphasising the importance of unity among Past Pupils, he encouraged successful Past Pupils to mentor and support their peers, particularly those seeking employment and career guidance. The programme also focused on organisational issues related to the Past Pupil Unit.
