Cagliari, Italy – January 2026 – The presentation of the Rector Major’s Strenna 2026 took place in the parish hall of the Salesian Parish of St Paul in Cagliari, an event that officially opened the celebrations in honour of Don Bosco. It was an intense and well-attended event, bringing together young people, adults, members of the Salesian Family and numerous faithful, eager to be challenged and guided by the message that Don Bosco’s Successor entrusts each year to the entire Salesian Family and the world of education. The Strenna was presented by the Mayor of Andria, Dr Giovanna Bruno, a former leader at the oratory, deeply attached to the Salesian charism and always attentive to the world of young people. Her presence was not only a source of joy and pride, but above all a living testimony of how evangelical values and the Preventive System can be embodied in daily life and in service to the civil community.
