(ANS – Etobicoke) – St. Benedict’s Parish in Etobicoke celebrated the feast of St. John Bosco during all weekend Masses on Saturday, 31 January, and Sunday, 1 February. The main celebration took place during the 12:45 Mass on Sunday, presided over by Fr John Puntino, Salesian Director, with Fr Steve DeMaio and Fr Ondrej Smidriak, priest of the archdiocese and Salesian Cooperator, concelebrating. At the end of the Eucharist, the Salesian Cooperators renewed their Promise on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of their foundation. The celebrations continued with a fraternal lunch that brought together members of the Salesian Family, including SDBs, FMAs, Salesian Cooperators, ADMA, Past Pupils and friends. The meeting ended with the presentation of this year’s Strenna video, followed by round table discussions.
