(ANS – Bogotá) – On 4 February 2026, the first assembly of the year of the Network of Schools and Vocational Training Centres (VTC) was held at the Salesian Province of Bogotá Colombia (COB) in the Provincial House, involving directors, rectors and coordinators from the various Salesian presences. The day began with the Eucharistic celebration, presided over by the Provincial, Fr Rubén Darío Jaramillo, SDB, who emphasised Don Bosco’s educational system as the basis for pastoral, formative and administrative work in the various educational environments. Fr Mauricio Cuadros, SDB, presented the Network’s outline and the main lines of work for the year, aimed at strengthening the Salesian educational mission. The meeting included a workshop on the use of Artificial Intelligence in educational environments, organised by the Salesian University Foundation, as well as the presentation of pedagogical resources by the Edebé Salesian Publishing House. This space reaffirms the province’s commitment to quality education, open to innovation and faithful to the charism of Don Bosco, at the service of children, adolescents and young people.
