(ANS – Liverpool) – Students and staff at St John Bosco Arts College in Croxteth, a suburb of Liverpool, gathered to celebrate and honour the patron saint of their school, St John Bosco. With the official feast day taking place on Saturday 31 January, St John Bosco Arts College began the celebrations on Friday 30 January with a Mass for the whole school, celebrated by Fr Tony Frain. Each class then took part in a series of different activities focusing on the school’s five core values: love, faith, community, respect and hope. The carefully planned programme of activities gave students the opportunity to reflect on the importance of celebrating the life and work of St John Bosco beyond their everyday school experiences.
