(ANS – São Paulo) – Last week saw the opening of the 2026 Extraordinary Visitation of Fr Gabriel Romero, Councillor for the South America Region, to the Salesian Province of São Paulo Brazil (BSP). The presence of the Councillor marks a significant moment of listening, communion and strengthening of the Salesian charismatic identity. After meeting with the directors on 10 February, Fr Gabriel Romero participated in the Provincial Council meeting in Campos Elíseos, São Paulo – SP, on 11 February. The Extraordinary Visitation complements the energy of the Salesian Congregation, promoting unity and renewed commitment to the educational and evangelising mission, at an important moment of accompaniment and charismatic animation.
