(ANS – Caracas) – With the aim of integrating spirituality into their personal goals, dozens of teenagers belonging to the Don Bosco Network gathered for their annual retreat. The meeting, which took place from 13 to 17 February, transformed the Villa Don Bosco facility into a space for reflection, shared living and spiritual growth for young people from the houses in Valencia, Mérida, San Félix, Puerto La Cruz and Caracas. The central objective of the day was to present holiness not as a distant concept, but as a real and attractive proposal for the life project of every teenager. Through dynamics, moments of prayer and working groups, the participants explored how their talents and daily actions can have a positive impact on their environment. The activity was coordinated by Fr Felipe Colmenares, President of the Don Bosco Houses Network, who emphasised the importance of offering these spaces for pause and encounter in the integral formation of Salesian youth. This year, the retreat was able to count on the support of the energy and witness of the Salesian prenovices, who accompanied the young people in every stage of the process, facilitating dialogue and the exchange of experiences.
