(ANS – Naples) – The final formation session of the SYM missionary proposal, ‘Rise Up’, took place in the Pianura district of Naples. About 70 young people participated, exploring the theme of freedom of the heart from gambling addiction through encounters with witnesses and associations active in the area. On Saturday evening there was a cultural and spiritual experience at the Cathedral of St Proculus the Martyr in Pozzuoli, in the presence of the Provincial, Fr Gianpaolo Roma. On Sunday, with the concluding Eucharistic celebration and the entrusting to God of those who will leave for summer missionary experiences, the pieces collected by each participant during each event of the year, once put back together, formed a small personal amphora: a sign that each crack not only tells of each person’s fragility, but also of the uniqueness of their life to be cherished.
