(ANS – Narukot) – Don Bosco English Medium School and Don Bosco Piloo Modi High School jointly hosted a three-day AI STEAM experiential learning workshop from 11 to 13 February, engaging over 700 students, parents and teachers. Organised in collaboration with International S.T.E.A.M Research (ISR), the programme introduced participants to artificial intelligence, robotics, coding, drones, IoT and extended reality technologies. Learners engaged in hands-on sessions, coding robots, flying drones and working with sensor-based applications. The Rector, Fr. Elson Baretto termed the initiative a step toward making students future-ready through experiential education. The Principal, Fr. Daresh said the institution aims to set a benchmark for holistic, technology-driven learning in Panchmahal district. Teachers and parents also participated, many experiencing advanced technologies for the first time. Students described the workshop as transformative and confidence-building. The schools plan to establish a permanent AI STEAM Lab with ISR’s support, strengthening access to futuristic education in rural Gujarat.
