(ANS – Cebu) – The Don Bosco Formation Center (DBFC) community celebrated the Chinese New Year holiday with a formative hiking activity themed “It’s the Climb,” highlighting perseverance and trust in the process. Organized by the Human Formation Team, the event brought together formators, aspirants, and novices for a day of prayer, reflection, and fraternity. The group set out from DBFC toward the peak known as “The Little Switzerland of Cebu” in Sitio Campinsa, Barangay Manipis, Talisay City. The activity opened with prayer and a zumba warm-up before the ascent began, symbolizing the shared journey of vocation and growth. Designed to foster fidelity, resilience, and companionship, the hike encouraged participants to support one another amid physical and personal challenges. After lunch at the summit, members gathered in sodality groups for sharing and reflection on their experiences. The event concluded in a spirit of joy and gratitude, strengthening bonds of brotherhood and reaffirming the values of perseverance and unity essential to Salesian formation.
