(ANS – Araçatuba) – Professionals from the Basic Health Units (UBS in Portuguese) in the rural area of Araçatuba were honoured with a vote of applause approved during the third ordinary session of the year of the Araçatuba City Council, held on February 18. The recognition was proposed by Councillor Ícaro Morales and highlights the work carried out by teams operating in the communities of Jacutinga, Prata, Água Limpa, and Engenheiro Taveira. Receiving the honor were managers Vivian Hara and Harla Cardoso de Araújo Santos, the Care Coordinator of “Zatti Saúde,” Cristiane Zonta, and the employees of the units. The request highlights the strategic importance of these professionals for access to public health, especially in more remote regions. The teams face structural and logistical challenges to ensure continuous care for the population by providing various home-based services. The professionals were recognised for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to humanising care, ensuring essential assistance to families in these locations. “Zatti Saúde” is part of the Salesian Mission of Mato Grosso (MSMT), which operates in the field of action and the provision of essential services to the population.
