(ANS – Siliguri) – Salesian College Siliguri has launched Everrooted, an innovative ecological intelligence platform developed by its Radio Club to promote responsible environmental action. Unveiled by Fr. C.M. Paul, the initiative was described as a “living system” that enables individuals to witness in real time the impact of their daily choices on the planet, moving beyond conventional awareness campaigns. Developed by Anand Kumar and the Radio Club Tech Team, the platform combines environmental science, psychology, and gamified design to encourage lasting behavioural change. It features real-time ecological dashboards, carbon footprint simulators, biodiversity tracking tools, and climate projection models, along with a Behavioural Influence Engine where a dynamic ecological character reflects users’ environmental decisions. Fr. Savio Silveira, Global Coordinator for Integral Ecology in Salesian Youth Ministry, welcomed the initiative and pledged support through the Don Bosco Green Alliance, while Dr. Prajwal Chhetri, Dean of Sciences, highlighted its alignment with the college’s Green Campus vision. Designed with multilingual access and scalable outreach, Everrooted aims to inspire young people worldwide to translate ecological awareness into concrete daily action.
