(ANS – Recife) – The Salesian Province of Recife, Brazil (BRE) has begun implementing Pró-Rede, an initiative promoted by the Salesian Network of Brazil, through Social Action, with the aim of institutionally strengthening social works and centres of vocational formation. The project will be developed in all the social presences of the province and is based on three main objectives: sustainability (charismatic and financial), management qualification, and preparation for overcoming future crises. It aims to ensure greater institutional solidity, organisation of processes, and diversification of resource sources. Structural actions include the Presence Project, which analyses the relevance of the work in the territory and reaffirms its identity and mission, and the Resource Acquisition Project, aimed at consolidating permanent strategies for charismatic and economic sustainability. As Pró-Rede, it aims to strengthen networking, consolidate indicators and ensure that each social work develops at least one structured project, in line with the Network managers. The initiative represents a strategic step towards reaffirming the Salesian mission with children, adolescents and young people, ensuring continuity, quality and social impact over the years developed by the Provincials.
