(ANS – Guatemala City) – From February 23 to 26, 2026, the Integrated Meeting of the Preferential Option Team was held at the Provincial House of the Salesians of Central America (CAM). This experience of collaboration and communion brought together one representative from each of the countries that form the CAM Province: Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua, and Honduras. During these days, participants engaged in intense reflection, dialogue, and planning, firmly committed to strengthening and optimizing the pastoral service to be carried out throughout the year. The atmosphere was marked by fraternity, active listening, and enthusiasm to respond with greater dedication to the needs of those who require it most. Among the topics discussed were the organization of common lines of action, the evaluation of ongoing processes, and the development of initiatives to ensure closer and more effective accompaniment in every community.
