Brazil – Lay Assistants of Salesian Youth Ministry Take Part in Formation and Planning Meeting
(ANS – São Paulo) – On February 26, at the Provincial House in Campos Elíseos, São Paulo, the first Formation and Planning Meeting was held for Lay Assistants of the Salesian Youth Ministry communities of the BSP Province. The gathering was an important moment of listening, sharing, and formative reflection, bringing together those who collaborate directly in animating the educational and evangelizing mission among young people. Perspectives and guidelines for the year were discussed, promoting alignment of pastoral actions, integration among communities, and strengthening networked collaboration. The formation offered shed light on contemporary pastoral challenges, reaffirming the centrality of youth leadership and Salesian spirituality. The initiative also facilitated the exchange of experiences, enriching the shared journey and reinforcing the sense of co-responsibility in the mission entrusted to the Salesian Family. With unity of spirit and renewed enthusiasm, participants returned to their communities committed to implementing the planned initiatives, confident that coordinated and well-grounded work is essential to ensure the vitality of Salesian Youth Ministry throughout 2026.
