(ANS – Lima) – ‘All of us here are bearers of Salesian DNA,’ said Fr Juan Pablo Alcas, Superior of the Salesian Province of Peru, to the Salesian Family, gathered in the auditorium of the Salesian San Francisco de Sales school for the official presentation of the 2026 Strenna of the Rector Major, Fr Fabio Attard: ‘Do whatever he tells you. Believers free to serve.’ Present were the various groups that make up the Salesian Family in the country: Past Pupils, Salesian Cooperators, ADMA, Volunteers with Don Bosco, Volunteers of Don Bosco, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Salesian Oblate Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Salesians of Don Bosco, the Damas Salesianas Association, among others. After a welcome from Fr Juan Pablo Alcas, the meeting continued with the screening of the official video of the Strenna 2026 on a large screen. At the end, the provincial encouraged the various groups of the Salesian Family to renew their faith, to open doors and hearts, and to serve young people with joy and authenticity. After a period of group reflection, a representative from each team shared with Fr Alcas the main conclusions and contributions that emerged from the questions and topics discussed.
