Timor-Leste – The Salesians of Don Bosco in Timor-Leste celebrate the Provincial Assembly focused on reporting and planning

(ANS – Dili) – The Salesians of Don Bosco in the East Timor Vice-Province held their Provincial Assembly from 26 to 28 February 2026 in the Audiovisual Room of the Don Bosco Centec Community. The meeting brought together Salesians and lay collaborators in an atmosphere of fraternity, responsibility and shared commitment to the mission. The main objective of the assembly was to offer the various communities and productive sectors of the Vice-Province the opportunity to present their financial statements for 2025, the inventory of movable and immovable property and their annual budget plans for 2026. The sessions highlighted the importance of transparency, accountability and responsible management of resources in support of the Salesian educational and pastoral mission, especially for young people and the most vulnerable. Present at the assembly were Fr Anacleto Guterres Pires, SDB, Superior of the TLS Vice-Province, Fr Inocêncio Diamantino da Silva, TLS Economer, Rectors, local economers and lay collaborators from various communities. Through dialogue, evaluation and joint planning, the participants strengthened coordination and shared responsibility, buildiTimor-Leste.
