(ANS – Guayaquil) – A total of 49 students have completed their technical formation at the Casa Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre of the Salesian Project Guayaquil Foundation, after several months of theoretical and practical formation aimed at strengthening their employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. The beneficiaries received formation in the fields of aesthetics, IT, carpentry, baking and tailoring, acquiring knowledge and skills that will enable them to enter the world of work or start their own business. During the graduation ceremony, the students received concrete tools for generating income and developing life projects, particularly for people in situations of vulnerability and exclusion in the city of Guayaquil. This support aims to promote the creation of micro-enterprises, enabling beneficiaries to put their acquired knowledge into practice and generate new opportunities for their families. This training course is part of the ‘Building Societies and Life Projects Free from Violence’ Project, implemented in Guayaquil (Ecuador) and Baja California (Mexico), with the support of the Catalan Agency for Cooperation of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
