Costa Rica – CEDES Don Bosco continues to strengthen its ELCOS project

(ANS – San José) – CEDES Don Bosco has launched the second year of the ELCOS (Équipe de Comunicación Local Salesiana) project, an initiative that aims to strengthen institutional communication in every area of the organisation. ELCOS, launched in 2025, brings together staff from Pasitos Pequeños (Small Steps), the School, the Lyceum and the Administration, with the aim of highlighting the positive news that emerges in the daily life of the educational community. This year, the team is being renewed with the addition of new members, committed to communicating with a Salesian identity and a pastoral approach. At the first meeting of the year, the team received guidelines and the publication schedule, reiterating the importance of generating content that reflects Don Bosco’s charism in the daily life of the institution. They also participated in a practical workshop focused on discovering stories within the community itself, based on the belief that the best news comes from people and their experiences. With this initiative, CEDES continues its commitment to educational and evangelising communication, which strengthens Salesian identity and promotes a sense of belonging to the entire educational and pastoral community.
