France – Double victory for students from the Giel Don Bosco High School at the International Agricultural Show in Paris

(ANS – Paris) – This year, the team from the Liceo Giel Don Bosco secondary school, competing in the International Trophy for Agricultural Education (TIEA) held during the Paris International Agricultural Show, achieved a double victory. Not only did it win first place in its category, but it also won the “Erasmus+ Grand Prize”. This year’s edition took place in two events: the students first had to make a 3-minute 30-second video on the theme of resilience in cattle farming, and then another 5-minute video in which they presented their region, the school and its programmes, the school farm, the cow “Titi” chosen from the farm’s herd and, finally, the school’s international orientation, including Erasmus+ internships. All the members of the group – Léon, Jade, Sonia, Elliot, Edouard, Maurine and Anthonin – first-year students on the Agricultural Business Management programme, as well as their supervising teachers, are very proud to have brought home the trophies. It should be noted that TIEA aims to recognise the work done in agricultural schools for student formation, promote multidisciplinary teaching and strengthen collaboration between teachers and professionals.
