Poland – Lenten retreat for about a hundred members and aspirants of the Association of Salesian Cooperators
(ANS – Kutno) – From 6 to 8 March, about 100 members and aspirants of the Salesian Cooperators Association (ASC) in the Warsaw Province gathered at the retreat house in Kutno–Woźniaków for their annual Lenten retreat. The event was led by Fr Sławomir Piotrowski, SDB, and was inspired by Mary’s words at Cana: ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ This theme, taken from the Rector Major’s Strenna 2026, guided the participants’ reflections and spiritual journey. The meeting took on special significance as it took place during the jubilee year celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Association. For the participants, it was an opportunity to rediscover the Salesian charism born from the heart of St John Bosco and to renew their commitment to living their vocation in daily life. The Way of the Cross, Masses, conferences and shared reflections helped the participants to deepen their relationship with God. A special experience was the symbolic ‘walk to Emmaus’, during which the participants shared their personal experiences of faith. The presence of the Vice-Provincial of Warsaw (PLE), Fr Adam Wtulich, during Saturday’s Eucharist was a sign of the unity of the Salesian Family and the closeness of the Salesians to the mission of the ASC.
