Spain – Fun and adventures at the IEF Meetings in León: Protagonists of History
(ANS – León) – On Saturday 21 March 2026, the Don Bosco Centre in León was filled with laughter, games and youthful energy during the 2026 IEF Meetings. The event was attended by nearly 250 people, including participants and leaders from the IEF groups in Villamuriel de Cerrato, Valladolid, León and Avilés, who shared a day packed with adventures and activities designed for all ages. The “Saltimbanquis” put their skills and competitive spirit to the test in the highly entertaining “Saltimbanquis Olympics”, whilst the Andaina set out on the mission of “The Guardians of the Yellow Temple”, solving challenges and puzzles in teams. For their part, the ADS experienced the excitement of “A Story to Discover”, immersing themselves in an adventure full of mystery and creativity. Meanwhile, the meeting of the ADOS and Youth groups took place in an atmosphere of camaraderie and reflection. The day concluded with a very special moment: all participants joined together to form the number 30, in tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Federation of Don Bosco Youth Centres in Castile and León, thus celebrating three decades of work, fun and history alongside the children and young people of the region.
