(ANS – Shillong) – On March 24, Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah, hosted a walk-in campus recruitment drive by IndiGo, India’s largest airline, for Cabin Crew positions, in collaboration with Emporium Skills Training Institute (ESTI). A total of 56 female candidates from across the North East participated, and five were selected: Deilana Shallam, Mahi Sah, Cassandra War, Silveris Mary Lyndem, and Ritika. The drive marks the second such recruitment initiative at the Centre under the MoU signed with ESTI in September 2025 to provide employment-linked training in aviation, hospitality, and cruise services. Fr. Michael Makri, the Director, stated that this was the fourth campus interview conducted under the MoU, with several more drives scheduled with national and international companies. Through sustained industry partnerships and skill-based formation, Don Bosco Youth Centre continues to emerge as a key hub for youth employment, bridging education and meaningful career opportunities in India and abroad.
