Brazil – The Don Bosco Institute celebrates its 107th anniversary in the spirit of faith, joy and social transformation

(ANS – São Paulo) – On 20 March 2026, the Don Bosco Institute celebrated its 107-year history, officially commemorated on 19 March, the feast of St Joseph, symbol of faith, work and faithful care, reinforcing the Institute’s commitment to social transformation through daily service, love and hope. The celebration took place at the Bom Retiro centre, bringing together those from the main centre and the “CEDESP Don Bosco Vila Paulistana” for a day marked by integration and joy. The programme began with the Eucharistic Celebration at the Parish of Our Lady Help of Christians, followed by a performance in honour of Don Bosco, staged by the young people, who brought to life the story and legacy of the holy founder. Throughout the day, participants enjoyed moments of fellowship and fun, taking part in various activities on the playing fields, board games, prize competitions, music and dancing.
