(ANS – Buenos Aires) – On 19 and 20 March 2026, the first meeting of the year was held for Rectors and Administrators of Salesian Houses in the Province of Argentina South (ARS). During the meeting, the new Provincial Superior, Fr Manuel Cayo, was introduced; he greeted the participants and invited them to draw inspiration for their service in the houses from the theme of the Rector Major’s 2026 Strenna: “Do whatever he tells you. Believers, free to serve”. During the meeting, held online and convened by the Provincial Economer Fr Gabriel Doddi, several ways were discussed to make administrative management more meaningful in the service of the educational and evangelising mission amongst the children and young people entrusted to the Houses in Argentina South. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your work, which often involves not only technical expertise but also a concrete commitment to supporting a reality that is always complex and demanding,” said Fr Doddi at the end of the meeting.
